Coming from a film-photo mother and a digital-photo father, it was destined that I would follow in their footsteps.
I have been photographing sports and student life for three years, starting my journey as a photographer for the Harmony Yearbook at Huntley High School, IL. in 2022. I was a photographer for publications for 3 years, working closely with the yearbook and loosely with the school newspaper, The Voice. I was the co-photography editor for the Harmony Yearbook during my senior year, working with several photographers and sending out assignments with my co-editor.
I have won awards with IWPA (Illinois Women’s Press Association) and with IHSA (Illinois High School Association) for my photography. I have third and second place photos for IWPA across multiple years, as well as a first place sectional finish and a fourth place state finish at IHSA, helping my school’s journalism program bring home the championship in 2025.
